Friends of TFC Event, March 11th Update

Planning is going well for our  Friends of TFC Event, planned for March 11th 2012.

Ticket applications are  now  being received and processed. We will  be sending out the first tickets in the  week commencing 13th February.  If you are  planning to attend now is the  time to apply as  places are  limited, see HERE

We can now announce more details and the first of our  presentations  for the  evening.

We  hope to have  two of  TFC aircraft positioned outside the  hangar with  site  lighting providing illumination  in order that  photographers  have an opportunity for  some unique  pictures.  This  is  subject to weather  conditions on the  day – the  aircraft will  be static with  no engine runs:

Our  first  presentation to  be announced is  very  much an in house  subject we are sure you will  find fascinating.  TFC as well as its traditional interests also develops Flight Simulators for the consumer and military markets.  Traditionally the simulation division has modelled modern fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft.  A recent project has modelled a Second World War aircraft.  Jim Mackonochie of TFC  will discuss and demonstrate  the significant challenges and differences faced between modelling jets and propeller driven aircraft.

We will  be  announcing more  about the other   presentations and arrangements over the  next few  weeks.

If you are  planning to attend now is the  time to apply as  places are  limited, see HERE  or apply  by  post,

Friends of TFC benefit from a discounted admission price of £25 per ticket, while non members can still attend at a price of £27 per ticket to help cover expenses for the event.  Friends of TFC  must include their membership  number when applying for tickets!
