Weekend shows

France in the sun.

Duxford with the sun peeping through.

The Mk. XIV did not make the Duxford show as on tie down runs after the plug change it decided to throw a fluctuating boost problem at the lads. No quick fix but work was carried out over the weekend ready for runs on Tuesday.

The wet weather put paid to the Gladiator and Spitfire V flying but the other aircraft filled their slots and the TF-51 and Corsair made it to France and back. Their departure was made only just in time, as soon as they were airborne the heavens opened.

Tuesday we should be back to full strength with work continuing on Sea Fury VX345 and the P-47G, so keep blogging.
