As you know we found an old video tape in a box the other week, we have rewound it a couple of times and found some recent TFC history. Just by chance we rewound it a bit more and found an answer to a question - when was the first Flying Legends? It appears to be 1944 and we can now see where the idea of bringing over warbirds to display at Duxford started.
