Working off the Christmas pud!

Seen today in the cold hangar, OAT hovering around zero, the lads off loaded the P-47 wings from their transit stands to start the fitting out process. Electrics, control rods, hydraulic pipes, flaps and ailerons all to be fitted. At least it will give us some more shelf space. By end of play both wings were vertical on "egg boxes".

Thank you for all these beautiful pictures of the restoration of the P-47G, it is an airplane that I particularly like. Do you have any picture inside the lower cowling to see the air intake, it interest me greatly because it is a very complex part of the P-47.
Congratulations to the entire team of restoration.
