In an earlier blog I mentioned that we were looking for some items and information to help with the restoration and certification of the P-47G. "Baldrick" working out in California for Pete Regina thought he might be able to help. This morning a parcel arrived via Fedex with not one fuel cock of the right type, but two. Thanks Pete and "Baldrick" for your help, it is greatly appreciated. If we can help any time please let us know.
The second package we received today was a DVD from one of TFC's "Friends", Phil Moore. On board was a copy of the Pilots Flight Operating Instructions for the P-47G. Straight away I was able to add required information to the aircraft Design Report which we have to submit to the Civil Aviation Authority to gain a Permit to Fly. Thanks Phil.
