F/O J A Garnham Royal Australian Air Force

Today we had a visit from Amanda Garnham the grand daughter of Beaufighter pilot F/O JA Garnham of 31 Squadron RAAF, not any old Beau. pilot but our very own, the pilot of A19-144, TFC's Beaufighter. Amanda first visited eight years ago and came back to check on progress. A busy girl she had found time to scan grandfathers photos and log books for us. She has more to scan so we plan to update the restoration page with more detail of his operational sorties and photos.

Dave it was a delight to have Amanda visit us again, how the last eight years have flown! Hope to meet up with you when I am next in Australia.

I am amazed with what you folk have done and the link with my father. My son Paul is in the UK and plans to visit. It will be an emotional experince for him.

My father meant the world to all of us and this piece of history will be remembered and valued by us all.
